In response to feedback from staff appraisals we are exploring the possibilty of some sort of staff incentive scheme - employee of the month or something similar. Does anyone operate such a scheme and if so what criteria do you use for deciding who is selected for rewards?

we operate a scheme that provides incentives for work undertaken, for instance a proprtion (10% of money taken over-the-counter- ie private forms, travel insurance forms etc) goes to a staff fund. this does incentivise staff to apply fees on all work undertaken. also we have a dispenser scheme which incentivises the discount deals undertaken. i suppose a scheme could be created to account for QOF, DESes etc in a similar way
