Hi everyone, Has any one had any info about the bank holiday entitlement regulations for part time staff? I have a member of staff who works tuesday and wednesdays weekly and has advised me that she is entitled by law to a pro rata proportion of the bank holidays. From what I have read she is correct,( EU Directive July 2000) however I have no idea how to implement this without the Monday, tuesday, wednesday staff being penalised. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!!!!!!

Barbara, you might want to try this excel spreadsheet out. I think (!) it is OK, but you might want to try it out first. It is based on this calculator from the University of York http://www.york.ac.uk/admin/persnl/forms/general/Holiday%20Entitlement%20Spreadsheet.xls
